A few years ago we used to give the name “notebook” to our diaries, or paper book on which we can write with a pen. But the time has changes now. Now the work notebook is used for something else and that is your laptop. Question arises in mind why we say it a notebook?
First answer to this question is the small size of the laptop. We used our traditional paper notebooks to write important data. Same is with the new laptop notebooks. But the laptop is an electronic form of notebook. It also serves the purpose of saving important data. It is more reliable as well. People use it for many entertainment purpose as well e.g. watching movies, playing games, connecting to the web etc. in addition to saving data.
If you compare your laptop with the desktop computer you will really admire this invention. It looks small but performs tremendous amounts of purposes for you. It gives you a great comfort as compare to the desktop computer. It gives you all those facilities which you can get from a traditional notebook. In addition you can cut, copy, paste and store huge amounts of data in no time and with a great ease. So it would not be wrong to call it a notebook.
